Fella-Ship Club

We provide an unrivaled opportunity for the husbands of past and present residents of Desert Hills. Along with Gary Jones, Director of Plant Operations, these men meet together once a month at a favorite diner in town. Through laughter, sorrow, reminiscing and discussing the trials of Dementia and related diseases, these men have developed a unique bond of friendship. This experience allows men to connect in their struggle of considering placement, placing at Desert Hills, and dealing with the grief of losing their wife. At the end of their wives' process through Alzheimer's Disease, these men have established friendships that endure past the walls of Desert Hills and into the hearts of men sharing in life's pathways, and Fella-Ship allows them to stay connected for years to come.
